About the Author: Misty Elliott is an American children’s author, musician, wife and mom of four. A native of Kansas, she currently lives in Cardiff, Wales. After graduating from Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas, with a degree in music education, she and her husband Bryan, soon began their greatest adventure to that point:  parenting.

Between growing “pizza trees” in the backyard, digging for chocolate under the swing set, dirty dishes, baskets of unmatched socks and homemade living room dance videos, Misty and her family have made many memories over the years, some of which inspired the whimsical world offlerds.
